서울국제도서전을 찾아주신 독자분들께 감사한 마음을 담아 제작하는 기획도서 '리미티드 에디션'.
2024 서울국제도서전에서는 7명의 소설가, 5명의 시인, 3명의 일러스트 작가의 글과 그림을 통해 ‘후이늠 Houyhnhnm’의 세계를 바라봅니다.
우리가 향하고 있는 곳이 어디인지. 무엇이 우리를 더 나은 세계로 이끌어 줄지.
서로 또 따로 빚어내는 ‘지금여기’는 가상이 아닌 오감으로, 이성의 장막이 아닌 날것의 몸으로 맞닥뜨리는 ‘무엇’이자 ‘우리’ 그 자체입니다.
픽셀의 원경 뒤에서 너와 나 사이의 파국을 드러내며 다시 그 파국을 파국할 치열하고 섬세한 문장들이, 기쁨과 슬픔, 공분과 연대 속에서 흔적처럼 그림자처럼 각인처럼 우리 안에 오롯이 재구성될 것입니다.
그것이 비록 “우리는 검은색 인화지에 흰 그림자를 남기고 멀어져 갈 뿐”(김혜순)일지라도 말입니다.
