Books speak to readers in different ways.

Some captivate the eye with their engaging design,

others bring laughter through the delightfulness of their stories,

and still others pose questions that invite deep reflection on life.

The Seoul International Book Fair, centered around the four keywords

— “beauty”, “fun”, “pleasure”, and “wisdom”,

selects a total of 40 books annually through the “Best Book of Korea (BBK)” competition,

and presents them to readers both domestic and international readers in a special exhibition.

There is no single definition of what makes a “Best Book.”

Through books selected according to diverse criteria,

the BBK exhibition aims to explore the unique character and depth of each work,

and provide an opportunity to share a wide range of perspectives.

We hope this exhibition will also be a time to discover new ways of reading.
