[Workshop] Pretend to Be a Fish, Pretend to Be Bei Lynn

Dive into the playful world of Let's Pretend We Are Fish with picture book artist Bei Lynn. We’ll begin by reading the story together and exploring its whimsical illustrations—then ask: How were these pictures made? In a live demo, Bei Lynn will reveal her creative process: layering different papers, drawing with thick and thin markers, and experimenting with contrasting touches—light and heavy, fast and slow. When the layered sheets are peeled away, surprising visual effects emerge! Participants will then try it themselves—discovering how small changes in texture and speed can lead to completely unexpected results. Come draw, explore, and see the world a little differently—just like a fish would.
