Spotlight Country Canada

This year Canada is celebrating the 150th anniversary of onfederation and the world is invited to celebrate with Canada. The main themes of the Government of Canada’s vision for the 150th anniversary of Confederation are diversity and inclusion, reconciliation with Indigenous people, the environment and youth.

These values can be found throughout Canada, and they are also reflected in Canadian literature. There are two Canadian authors participating in SIBF : Ms.Kathy Stinson, a children’s author from
Toronto with over 30 titles and Ms.Sylvia McNicoll, a young-adult author with two titles.
