Genre Criticism Book Cast

The SIBF has taken a look at genre content such as sci-fi, web novel, light novel, and webtoon. Along with the special program on detective/mystery/thriller/horror, we promote the understanding on emerging genres in general, and explore the characteristics of specific genres (fantasy, romance, sci-fi, and martial arts). This program offers a chance to redefine and explore genres which used to be considered as subculture from a critical point of view.

Genre That Destroys Genre

In this Book Cast, speakers discuss the change in perception about genre literature which was considered the opposite of pure literature through general seminar on genre. This is about redefining genre from various perspectives from literary circle, theory of criticism, and web novel research.
