Special Exhibition for Webtoon＆Web-novel 〈Wave〉
Special Exhibition 〈Wave〉 take a view of webtoon and web-novel which has became a genre by strengthening their own value as Intellectual Priority and combining with other forms of media.
The exhibition consists of various artworks with high quality and stories that artists bring forward honestly, stories that we have not known, chronicles which has made a history of 20 years, and conversations that we give to artists. Behind the glorious growth of Korean Cartoon, which extend thier branch to the world with unique storyline is artists' endless effort refusing to take a break.
Artists spend more than 10 hours in average on making brilliant artworks. The exhibition prepare a section to make a message of thanksgiving to writers for the happiness they gave us. Visitors can read interviews of representative insta-toon writers who make daily cartoons, authorized artworks ‘Today's Korean Catoon Awardees(오늘의우리만화상)’. A section treating the value of webtoons and web novels. In addition, special exhibition 〈Wave〉 focus more on the writer who plays the main role in this genre and its value until comics become the basis of the story industry.
